Hurry up and preen your feathers, everyone! Visitors are coming to see us!

Look who's here to see you, Flapper. It's a cute baby from Okie Finoke! And her parents, Cathy & Andrew, too! Terrie from Oregon is visiting as well.

Cathy is a bonafide duck nut, just like me. Flapper got along super well with Cathy. They chatted for quite a while.

Flapper even gave Cathy a goodbye hug, without even biting her!

Andrew is a duck nut, too. Here Flapper straightens his collar for the photo.

And Andrew returns the favor by straightening Flappers beak.

After visiting with Flapper and the flock, we all went inside to share duck stories.

Baby Katie found us duck nuts to be a bit boring, so she dozed off to dreamland.

"Wow! Thank you for coming all the way from Oklahoma and Oregon just to visit me, duck nuts!"

"Well I think they came all that way just to see us, don't you think?"

"Maybe they also came to see me honk."

"Maybe they came to see my wings."

"Maybe they came to see me dance the ballet."
"Or to hear me sing."

"Maybe they were already in town and so they dropped by to visit."
You're right, Petunia Peach. Always the realist. It was great to see Cathy, Andrew & baby Katie, and to visit with Terrie again as well. It was so nice (and so RARE) to spend the day with fellow duck nuts!

"Are you sure they didn't come to see my wings? I can show them again."

"Maybe they were just embarrassed to admit they wanted to see my belly."

You're probably right, Flapper.

"Yeah, I thought so."
