Quacked Up
You may think I’m koo koo for ducks, but rest assured… I’m not alone.
This is my friend driving a pekin home to a sanctuary. She didn’t have any crates with her, so she held him and let him drive. He’s wearing his seat belt though, so it’s okay – safety first!
This guy was freshly dumped at a park by a not-so-bright human, and wouldn’t have survived there long. Now he has a good chance of finding a forever home.
Quacks,
Tiff

What a good li’l pooper! I wonder what he likes on his french fries…..
I’m surprised he didn’t drive himself right to the McDonald’s drive-thru.
What a handsome (and talented) duck. He’ll find a forever home in no time, I’m sure.
Seriously, I can’t tell you how mad it makes me when people do that, just dump ducks in the park. But it’s reassuring to know that there are kindhearted people like you, Tiffany, and your friend, who go out of their way to save these guys.
You say “koo koo for ducks” like it’s a bad thing.
For a moment I thought it was Flapper and you driving to the McDonalds, but this is Jen!
This makes for a good road movie (er photo;-) Good luck sweetie, it’ll all work out for you now.
I hope the duck is either wearing a diaper or he has learned to hold his stool (like my duck did)…. or else it would have been messy!
Yeah, he is a good-looking little guy. If I were in the area I would have snapped him right up! Unfortunately I am on the other side of the coast.
Agreed with Dawn… “koo koo for ducks” is most definitely a positive trait… it should be “cool for ducks”…
