Hi Gayle -

I siphon off the water once a week, take the pool liners out of the ground and scrub them. Then put them back in their holes and refill them. If they get a little gross during the week, I just run the hose in them and let them flood the yard a bit. It seems to work pretty well. These photos were taken right after I cleaned it though, so they're not the "average" cleanliness.

Flapper has made my day. He made me smile and chuckle while at work. Tif how do you keep that water so clean? does it have a plug for draining? We had a kids swimming pool for our 3 ducks when we were growing up. My dad dug a large hole in the ground and lined it with a kids swimming pool - kind of a like a sunken pool but lined - haha. They loved that thing. It was tough to clean though since we had to bail out the old water, clean up the pool, then put fresh water in.

He sure knows how to work the camera. I'm with Pansy--it's wonderful to see him happy and healthy. He's a rambunctious kid at heart.

Wish I were there to tickle his belly.
