hug

My best friend Tricia sent me this card and it arrived today. It was the perfect day to get it as life whole-heartedly sucks right now. I know many of you are having difficulties as well, so I wish a big, awkward 8-armed hug for us all. Also… many of you have emailed or sent cards or donated money, and I may not have responded. I am paddling through life, keeping my head just above water right now, and I apologize for being out of touch.
Please know that I appreciate you all so much.
XOXOX

We ducklovers, and the ducks / geese all over the world, deeply appreciate what you have done and continue to do for us as well. Thank you and salute, Ducky Mamma!
That’s a lovely card.
I second what Pansy said. For those of us who can’t have ducks, your blog provides a moving, sometimes sad but often hilarious look into the lives of ducks. I wouldn’t know nearly as much about them without your site, and I feel lucky to have your kids as part of my life. You’re a hero for all that you do in rescuing ducks and in raising awareness.
Feathery hugs and muddy ChooChoo kisses all around.
It takes time to heal Tiff, take your time. Your friends will be here for you.
I hope today will be better and continue to improve into the next week.
Here’s hoping the kids are okay and I’m sending love and the very best wishes to you. Take care, you are not alone in this. Love from all of us at Foppe’s Acre.
I have been reading about your loss and it brings tears to my eyes. I have become very fond of this site, and eagerly look forward to checking up on the latest adventures of Mr. Flapper and his friends. When I read what happened with your flock, I was heartbroken for you. I hope you will all find a time to sing again, to flap your wings in joy and to think fondly on friends passed with lessening sadness.
