Ducks Looking Silly
As if ducks didn’t look silly-enough naturally, my kids went the extra mile to look silly today.
O’Malley shows how he can look silly getting out of the pool.
Flapper looks silly — and lazy — hanging his neck over the side of the baby pool.
Chewy looks silly getting ready to preen his belly after a dip in the pool.
But there’s one duck who just looks beautiful these days.
And that’s Pretty Petunia Peach. Looking good, Toony. Your wing feathers are growing back very nicely, girl.
Oh, I guess Toony does look silly these days as well.
It’s silliness all around, which is a nice change of pace.

Silly goes a long way:-) We all should act silly from time to time, the kids show us a fine example of how to enjoy time in the yard. Good to see this, makes me smile on another grey day in Holland.

I love the blue feathers on Chewy. I’ve never seen that before!
The look on Toonie’s face says it all. “Pretty? Of course I’m pretty. What did you think? You want to my picture? I will allow it.” I’m glad to see her out and about. She looks great.
I love the bends and curves of Flapper’s elegant pose. Worthy of a master sculptor. “Michaelangelo’s Flapper.”
You can almost hear O’Malley’s dinosaur feet stomp-stomp-stomping. “I AM IRON DUCK.”
