A Good Weekend

It was a good weekend at Flapper’s house. Everyone relaxed and ate treats.

The crows ate the last of Lisa’s pumpkin muffins.

O’Malley took a little bath…

…with lots of splashing.

Then everyone started preening.

And preening.

And preening some more.
It was a good weekend.

Mmmm muffins
Looks like the gang is getting ready for a big night of thanksgiving celebration! May peace and joy be with the Flapper household.
Is O’Malley’s pompadour fully grown in? It looks very full and stylish right there. And the salt ‘n pepper feathers give him a very distinguished air.
I’m glad the crow got in on the fun. I hope Toonie did as well.
I am so happy every time you add to your web site because I can feel the love (and humor!) you share with your sweet duck family. O’Malley IS looking quite handsome, yes he is a big beautiful boy. You do such a great job with photography! Ha I really enjoyed the picture of the crow too! This is almost impossible to get because a crow won’t stop moving even for a millisecond! All fabulous shots! Can I ask what model camera you are using?
mr crow preening
birdbaby: I use a canon digital rebel slr – bought it in 2003.
i don’t think it’s just the camera that takes the great photos. It’s the person who gets on the ground, lays on the ground with the duck poop?? who takes the fantastic photos.
As always Tiff, you’re photos are indeed great and i so look forward every day going in to see what is going on with your family. I hope they get some corn bread or french fries for Thanksgiving.
Ha Oh yes “nature” photographs in the duck yard are a labor of love. Much credit to the photographer! My 35mm Canon should, but doesn’t show detail like this probably because of the operator, and, ha! and, LOL MY ducks mostly run or hide if I’m holding anything that doesn’t resemble food.
I love these pictures of he kids (Petunia is missing but I hope she was just shy), what a wonderful way to spend the weekend, what am I saying, the best time is always spent with the ducks. So good to see them so relaxed, Malley doesn’t have that sad look in his eyes anymore so I hope he’s coming to terms with everything.
I’ve been ofline for five days and I’ve missed everyone so much, you and your kids are my extended family and I always wish you well and hope from now on better times will have arrived at Flapper’s yard.
This is a super good start:-)
yeah!!!
omg, you still had some muffins left! lol.
hey guys, i hope you all have a good thanksgiving!!!!
best regards,
