Good morning, Seattle

Good morning, Seattle. 4 more inches of snow, eh? Hmmm.
My cats are indoor-only cats, but this morning, I thought I’d let Meelee go ahead and sneak out.

“I want to go oooooout!”

Go for it, Meelee.
“Really? I can go out?”
Yep, really.

“Wow. I’ve waited years for this! What should I do first?”

“Here I go!”

“Eeks! I’m falling through the white stuff!”
Do you need some help, Meelee?

“No I’m good. I’m staying on top of the white stuff now.”

“Um… okay help.”
Meelee came right back in the house, but at the front door, Simon decided he wanted to go outside as well.

“HELP! HELP! HELP! MAYDAY! MEROWR! MEROOOWR!”
Simon didn’t make it very far. He wasn’t light-enough to stay on top of the white stuff.
Sorry Simon.

Simon’s facial expression cracks me up.
What a wonderful series! Meelee is so brave! Way to go Meelee, you look a little worried in the first shots but you did it!:-) (I don’t think I would dare ….)
You’ve got tons of snow! Looks very nice but I fear it still cold too?
Are the ducks outside in their pens during the day or do they camp out inside the house all he time?
Poor Simon, better get back on the couch sweetie;-)
Best wishes for all and I hope you will have a green lawn again soon.
(good thoughts for Hodjee)
simon is hilarious
Love that first photo. It’s amazing how snow turns a regular neighborhood into a postcard scene. Until all the traffic turns the pristine snow into nasty grey mush, anyway.
I wonder how the snow felt on their little furry feets.
Aww, poor Simon. He’s such a cutie, I shouldn’t laugh at him. He certainly is a big boy, though.
Oh, that’s too funny.
We bought a little mountain cabin this summer and we take our two kitties along when we go up on weekends; they are allowed out at home but not at the cabin and so they always reeeeeaaallllly want to go out at the cabin.
The first “snow” was really just a lot of very small hail, and we let our little old lady out onto the deck, and she looked exactly like Meelee. “What is this stuff??? Halp!!!”
