Juno Checks In
Remember little baby duck Juno?

She sent us this photo yesterday, of her with her duck buddies Fling & Thor.

Her human Erin says she’s doing great. All 3 ducks get along well and are doing fine through the winter cold. We’re glad to hear from Juno and happy that she’s doing so well in her forever home.
Thanks for the note, Erin!

Awww! I remember Juno fondly. Glad she’s doing well. I remember your “Hot Augest Evening” video (not too hot right now, is it. I’m glad the other two ducks aren’t as afraid of her as their cousin Chewy.
Who could forget that li’l cutie? She’s grown up into quite a lovely duck!
Yay, a Juno update!
Juno was queen of the gods in Roman times. It is quite an appropriate name for this elegant, regal duck. (Though I remember that Erin and family named her Juno because they were taking a trip to Juneau, AK, right?)
Yup.
We named Juno “Juno” not only for our next trip to Juneau, AK, but also because one of our magpies is named “Thor”, so we figured that since Thor was the Norse god-of-all-gods, and Juno was the Roman god-of-all-gods, it would be a dual meaning name.

He does me proud. Of course, I jinxed us by wishing for spring yesterday. I blame the snow on me.
I’m in Awe! Erin has a beautiful little family! Since even by fluke, all the ducks have God and Goddess names, I guess I can figure out who rules over at that house…(yuck yuck)….Don’t worry, only special people are chosen by the God’s as duck slaves, so it’s definitely a joy, honor and loads of fun!
she looks very good
That baby duck photo of Juno – I just love it. I have to take a look every day because he’s so cute.
Hi Juno! Long time no see, but good to hear that you are doing great! So Thor and Fling have accepted you completely now, I knew it;-)
Thanks for the update on your little dancer!
