Home, Sweet Home
Hey, Flapper. What you doing, buster?

“Oh hey mom. Welcome home!”

“I’m nesting right now.”
Okay, Flapper. I’ll talk to you when you’re done.

“Let’s go talk to mom.”

Thanks, Choo Choo. You’re a good boy.

“I know.”

“Suck up.”
Ha ha that’s not very nice, Flapper. Come here and visit with me. I missed you.

“I’m pretty good, too. Did you bring me anything from your trip?”
You are both pretty and pretty good, Petunia. I didn’t bring you anything from Philadelphia, but I did bring you some corn treats from inside the house.

Malley? When you’re done with your bath, come sit with me. I want to hear all about your weekend.

From Thursday-Sunday afternoon I was in Philadelphia judging an advertising award show. The ducks and cats had a pet sitter. I’m happy they have such good care when I’m gone, but I am happier to be home as I miss them far too much when I’m away.

You have some happy ducks, that’s for sure! The sitter did a great job but Flapper wanted his mom! He was so excited when she came to visit, only to find out, OK food, water, OK cleaning up,…. that’s it? THAT’S IT? No MOM?? I have a parrot that pouts when I first get back from a trip just like Flapper does. My bird pretends she doesn’t notice I’m back home even after I pick her up and have her sitting on my arm! YEP. It’s less painful to just stay home. Humans should just admit they want to be controlled by bird brains.
I love to read you descriptions. Glad you got home safely and the kids are back to normal again.
yes, and we miss you and your stories and the awesome photos. great photos today.
mommy’s home! such a great feeling for both sides.
what award show were you judging?
Flappy tush!
I missed seeing and hearing about the kids. I want to kiss Choo right on his little chub cheek.
Our parrots get PO’d when we leave them for just a few hours, never mind overnight.
What adorable pictures of Chewy. And, Petunia is just beautiful lady.
I am sure everyone is glad to be roaming the yard again!
hope flap can have some babys
They all look so sweet and happy to see you!
Beautiful pictures of happy kids! Good to hear that you are back home safe and sound. Your trip somehow slipped by me (been busy and offline).
I love love love this shot of Petuina:-) Ofcourse Flap, Choo and Malley too (don’t worry kids). Ofcourse they missed you, I bet Flapper had much to tell you about his nest (it’s that time of year again, ey Flapper, when it starts to itch;-)
I’m looking forward to you eggs Flapper!
Welcome home Tiff.
Pretty handsome for ducks!
Whatever became of Chewey’s reward of more worms when HE found HIS eggs?
