Spring Fever

We finally have some good weather here in Seattle, and the ducks are loving it. Petunia and O’Malley went bug hunting together.

Flapper tried his best to impress Petunia.

While Chewy just showed her his best side: the Choo Choo caboose.

Both Flapper & Chewy are sporting new drake feathers, too.

Unfortunately I don’t think Petunia was impressed… or maybe she’s just playing it cool.

Which do you think it is, O’Malley? Is Petunia unimpressed or is she playing it cool?

“I’m not answering that. I’m on her good side.”
Good point, O’Malley. Some questions are better left unanswered.

“She is wise. I wonder if she gives lessons.”

Awwww… Simply adorable!
I think that Petunia is playing hard to get. With our great weather finally here in Seattle – there will be tons of bugs for the gettin’.
I think Lily has a secret crush on Flapper.
Way to be smooth, O’Malley.
You go girl (Petunia)!
I love Chewy’s curled tail feather. So adorable!
Choo tush!!
TooToo is all attitude, but I think underneath she’s a sweetie. She is just biding her time. With so many men looking to impress her, she can afford to be picky.
Happy to hear that you’ve got some nice weather, it’s cold and storming in Holland right now making the wild geese even more wild;-(
Beautiful pictures and so good to see your kids out and about. Hey Chewy, I’ve got one of those beautiful curly feathers too!:-)
Good to see that Petunia is completely back and in charge!
