New Mr. Dodo Update
Just got this new note from Mr. Dodo’s new family:
Here’s a few pictures of Mr. Dodo and his harem.

He is really content – eating grass, bugs and flies to his heart’s content. He’s also feeling a little spring fever.

I caught him in an amorous moment with Fling the other day in the pond. I think the bio-dynamics of that encounter may leave a bit to be desired, but he was valiantly trying nonetheless.
Juno is getting new feathers after a serious bout of molting. I’m waiting to check her wings out once the feathers come in a little more.

All 3 continue to get along like they have always been together. It’s a joy to see them all so happy.

Take care and keep up the good work.

I am so excited to read the updated comments about Mr. Dodo. When my daughter, Amy and i first found him we called him “Snowflake,” as it was snowing and he was hovered under our car. We immediately called Jerry to help rescue him as certainly the circle of life would have percipitated. Thank goodness jerry was able to help out…nonetheless Jerry named him “Mr. Dodo.” We are sooo very thankful that Snowflake or Mr. Dodo has a safe, secure and loving family to guide him through his life.
Thanking you,
Wendy and Amy Stricherz
Beautiful pictures and good news:-) It’s good to see them so happy together.
I’m happy for all three of them, my scovies can learn something from them when it comes to getting along;-) Thanks for the update.
We are SOOOO Happy for Mr. Dodo. He looks so content and I think there was a slight beak smirk from him in the first picture…this just makes one feel good all over!!!!
Please keep the pictures and updates coming in….we hope he has a few “Little Dodos” in the future…
Mr. Dodo looks so awesome. He is so white. Doesn’t look like there is a freckle of color on him. I had trouble getting on the Flapper sight tonight but now realize Tiff was updating.
Great Photos.
Mr. Dodo has the most expressive and serene eyes. I love that little guy. The three of them look very happy to be together, too.
Great pics of Mr. Dodo. I love it when birds tilt their heads and give you that quizzical look. You can just hear them thinking, “Huh?”
He’s got little chub cheeks, doesn’t he? So cute. The combination of white feathers and dark eyes is very sweet.
Thank you, Wendy and Amy, for rescuing this wonderful little guy.
