Sleepyville

“Hi Mom.”
Hi cutey pie. Looks like it’s nap time.

“Zzzzz.”

Hi Malley. You and Petunia look cute there under the tree.
“Thanks, Mom. We’re napping too.”

“Zzzzzz.”
Boy, everybody is tired today. I guess I have to hang out by myself.

“Do you want me to stay awake and talk to you?”
That’s nice of you, Choo Choo. But I’ll be okay. Go ahead and snooze.

Everybody did some serious napping today at Flapper’s house.

Handsome Sam even sat down to nap.

Lily stayed awake and hung out with me for awhile. Then once she fell asleep…

Meelee came outside to hang out with me in the aviary.

She had a fun time exploring everything.

Simon joined us, too.
But eventually they went back inside, and even I took some of Flapper’s advice.

And took a nap, too.
Happy Napping, everyone.

Extra cute! I love it. Today was a sleepy day for me as well. Glad the kitties has some fun
Taking an afternoon nap is the best remedy! I do it too (if I have the time;-).
Sweet pictures, all of them, but specially Flapper, he takes napping into a new dimension. Lily and Sam look great, they’ve settled in quite well, don’t they?
I hope they’re happy and improving, looks like they do.
Lovely to see Meelee ourside, exploring, she looks so cat-like and full of wanderlust in the second picture. Good Meelee! And Simon, well, he’s just the most handsome bloke on the block-)
Sleep tight sweeties, our sleepy heads wish you all a wonderful Sunday, zzzzzzzzzz…..
I think it’s our great sunny weather we have been having. it makes one want to snooze and relax. I love the photos on your post today.
Handsome Sam! You look so HANDSOME and healthy! Lily you are looking so pretty with a BIG SMILE on your face! So exciting. I am so happy you both are doing so good.
P.s. Sam anytime you want to come down to Idaho and help me with yard work you are more then welcome. My ducks like to spend their hunting for bugs. Ha ha I don’t blame them sometimes yard work well can be hard work.
Sleeping ducks are so much cuter than I imagined. Do they snuggle up and sleep together?
You were wise to follow the sage example of such a distinguished panel of duck experts.
Beanie: Flapper and O’Malley will snuggle with me, but my ducks in general like to sleep next to each other, but not touching. They like to reach out a beak and touch another duck, but not snuggle right up to them.
Ducks are so cute when they are sleeping. Those are very sweet pictures. And charming narration.
Flappy tush!
The Flaptivist looks so peaceful and content after his hard night of protesting and eating fries. And Malley’s caruncle matches the buds on the trees.
I followed suit and spent basically the whole Sunday in bed. Thanks for the sage advice, guys.
