Beautiful Day
It’s a beautiful day again in Seattle. We’re going to get spoiled with all this sunshine. The ducks are kind of in shock, and just stand around posing in the sunshine.

“This is my pensive, sensitive thinker pose.”
Very nice, O’Malley.

“This is my don’t mess with me pose.”
Wow! That’s very effective, Petunia.

“This is my chasing Petunia pose.”
Aah, well that explains her pose then, Chewy.

“This is not a pose. I am trying to figure out where Lily went. Did you see her?”
She is under that shrub, Sam.

“Okay then, this is my flexing supermodel pose.”
Oh very handsome, Sam.

“This is my sweet, innocent pose.”
It’s almost believable, Flapper. Very good.

“This is my do you have treats pose.”
Is that a hint, Chewy?

“I can do that pose, too. Do you have treats?”
I will get some treats in a little bit, Petunia.

“Don’t make me bust out my threatening pose again.”
Okay okay. I’m getting the treats, silly girl.
Happy Sunny Seattle Sunday to everyone, and many wishes for lots of treats.

Awe, I enjoyed all this posing:-) They all look naturals, naturally!
Sam has become a beautiful man, and Lily is glowing and I love her smile!
Petunia needs some treats, in case you didn’t know. She deserves one for laying pretty eggs. O’Mally has a wonderful pony tail, man that crest is worth a million!
Flapper is cute, but he’s always cute;-) Hi Flapper!
And last but surely not least Chewy is gining us his best shot at flapping, maybe he’s even better at it than Flapper!
I’m glad you’ve had nice weather, good for the kids, and humans too. It was nice in Holland all weekend too, we’ve enjoyed it very much.
Except for Spirit, who is lame on both legs for three days. Poor baby, I suspect it’s a bacterial infection:-(
Petunia is so cute I want to pick her up and give her a big hug. Sam looks great! It’s amazing what spending time at Chez Flapper will do for a guy!
No Lily again! We miss Lily! Bring back Lily! (please?)
Awwww… These are all such adorable photos of everyone (except Lily!)
I can’t decide which pose I like best. Too’s is definitely the most formidable. Lady Petunia is not to be trifled with.
It was sunny here, too, a nice change from the cold and damp spring we’ve had.
cute picts! oh, no, flapper you’ve succumbed to twitter too? maybe the other ducks need to keep your ego in check a little more often.
What next ? Flappers going to need a blackberry :LOL
I’m a little concerned about Mr Moors duck, Spirit.
Today, Memorial Day, my mom died from Alzheimers. She loved ducks and all animals; especially water fowl, many cats, dogs, and skunks. Yes we grew up with pet skunks. I was with her from the beginning to the end; including through her diagnosis from 15 years ago.
Thank you for this website tiff. It brings such joy to me every day.
