Incoming!

Hey hey. You boys aren’t chasing Petunia, are you?

“Who us? Oh no!”

“We’re um… hanging out.”

“We might be trying to impress her a little bit.”

Good luck with that.
“Thanks!”

“What’re you up to, Mom?”

Well, I came out to tell you we might be getting some new foster ducks tomorrow.

“Oh really?”
Yep. I don’t know much about them yet, but they’ll be staying here while we find them a forever home. We’ll know more tomorrow night.

“Okay, Mom. Sounds good.”
You’re a good boy, Malley.

“I’m good too, right Mom?”
Yes you are, Choo Choo.

And Flappy? You’re the best duck ever.
More information on the new foster kids as soon as we know more. We’re supposed to meet them Saturday night. They will not be permanent residents here at Flapper’s house, but we do hope to find them a good forever home.

can’t wait to meet the new foster kids!!
Tif, as always, you are simply an amazing lady.
how are the indoor ducks?
Busy times again at Casa del Flapper! The new foster kids will fill in the space Sam and Lily left, but not the void in your heart…. I’m looking forward to their arrival, I hope they just need new homes and are not injured.
Beautiful pictures of your gang:-) Hey, guys, be gentle with Petunia, you hear!
I just released Spirit, she’s back to normal again, but her room is already occupied by Saffy:-( I noticed Saffy (Sieb’s first lady) was limping last night but it was already getting dark and I couldn’t do anything. This morning she sat in front of my backdoor and couldn’t walk. So I penned her and will catch Sieb later, he will be penned alone (sorry Sieb).
Sieb is really rough with my girls, at first I thought Spirit got hurt because she is still young, but Saffy is seven and now injured too.
I’m sorry for Saffy, but at least I know what’s going on and am not too worried, she’s not as badly injured like Spirit was so she should be fine in a weeks time.
I’m not sure what I will do with Sieb. He’s really using up all his credit these days.
For a year I have been penning the drakes seperately (which works but is not ideal and I’m starting to get fed up with always having ducks penned), but now he’s injuring my girls, and I can’t have that.
So maybe I will have to be strong afterall and find a new home for Sieb (maybe I knew all along but didn’t have the guts).
So new developments at Foppe’s Acre…..
I wish you good luck with the new foster kids!
Hey Tiff, I have to ask–what kind of camera do you use? You always take such beautiful shots and I am jealous!
Good luck with the newbies!!! Hopefully they will find their forever home quickly!
As always, your story-telling is sweet and funny.
Don’t let those boys get you down Toony, it’s already hard enough to be so beautiful.
Malley is looking smooth as usual, rocking the Elvis coif. ChooChoo looks so happy in that second to last shot. And the Flapster looks so loving in that last shot.
Best wishes to Mr. Moor’s sick duck, Saffy.
O’Malley’s pompadour kills me.
Wishing Mr. Moor the best of luck in making a tough decision and good health to his girls!
How exciting, some new extended family coming in. I would like to know what Flapper was telling you in your ear. Sweet nothings? looking for cooties/bugs? checking out the hair style?
It’s kind of cute how Flap and Choo think that they have a chance with Toonie. Don’t let a little reality, and a large pterodactyl, get in your way, boys.
