I could provide a backup home for them but it would nice to see them go to a home where they could be pampered like you-know-who. Dobby is such an attention hog here.

I feel sad for their former human. It must have been painful for her to give them up. But I’m glad that these two cuties found their way to the Crazy Duck Lady. They will be well taken care of until they find forever people. (I hope they won’t be bitten by a pterodactyl!)

Will you split them up if necessary? Or will they definitely go as a duo?

I answered this same question from you when you asked it about Sam & Lily. Here was my answer:

“Yes, Joan. I always offer to take them back if it doesn’t work out, and I even have a backup home should that happen. I’ve never had to do that, but once I did bring one duck back with me for a week while I built her a predator-proof pen (she was very imprinted). This home sounds great so I have my fingers crossed that everything will go well.”

What handsome fellows! They are still young so the transition won’t be that hard on them, but I’m glad they ended up with you (for the time being). Sad for their humans that they broke up but these kids were happy she turned to you and they didn’t end up at the local pond.
They look very healthy and relaxed.
I’m sorry for Petunia though, would have been nice if she had a girlfriend for a while:-)
