Not Cute At All, Nope, No Way

Victor and Emilio here are settling in to their new routine, as foster ducks at Flapper’s house.
Today they swam in their pool, found their treats and got a little too hot in the sun. Then they found the shade and everything was good. Tonight they didn’t want to sit on my lap separately, so we all sat together.

Emilio thinks Victor makes a really comfy pillow.
They’re both the sweetest, friendliest kids around. I hope we find a perfect home for them.

they look like very happy duckies.
they are the cutest!!
Awww! Look at those pinchable chub cheeks on Victor and the cool stripes on Emilio.
Your face in this photo is priceless, Tiff. It’s like, “Yeah, yeah, I know you guys are cute, but how did I get myself into this, AGAIN?” Reminds me of the many photos Wayne has taken of me half asleep in bed with Peepers the conure sitting on my chest, chomping away at my lips. Peepers is obsessed with biting lips.
Oh the cuteness! Ducks…snuggling. Ack!
Eeeeeee! Cutest picture ever!!!!
What kind of duck is Emilio? He’s handsome. (So is Victor, but not as handsome as Flapper).
Nicky
You could write a children’s book on Flapper and his feathered friends (and one Human)
Nicky: Emilio is a rouen duck. He looks like a female mallard right now, but rouens are larger and fatter than wild mallards. He will grow his green head feathers when he is older, so I won’t tell him he looks like a girl. He will get a complex.
Just makes you melt!
But you know that the brown one is a girl right?
No Jade, the brown one is not a girl. It’s a young boy who does not have his green head feathers yet.
These two ducks are buds you can tell that for sure. I love how they hang on to each other and hug. We will continue to trust that an awesome home will open up for them.
I have to say that Flapper is definitely more handsome so he shouldn’t feel intimidated at all by the foster ducks.
I love the idea of a children’s book(s) (and adult for the rest of us) about the adventures of mr. Flapper and his friends.
I am so wrong!
I had a female & never saw an immature male!
