Meelee went to the vet this afternoon. She’s doing okay, but she was dehydrated again. She is also still slowly losing weight. She’ll probably need fluids twice a week from here on out, to keep her hydrated. We’ll get results back on blood and urine by Thursday afternoon.
She weighed 7.10lbs in February and is down to 6.6lbs today.
She came home and ate well, and is now preening the vet cooties off of her fur.

Have you tried giving her low-sodium chicken broth? (Or “chicken juice” as well call it in my house…”hey, Little Buddy, do you want a glass of chicken juice?”) That’s my trick for getting a sick kitty to drink. Works every time!

i hope all the blood work comes back normal.
What a pretty kitty she is. Love her coloring. And kitties sure do spend a lot of time getting those cooties off them!
What a little sweetie-pie being a good girl at the vet. We always know that our time with them is finite, but it’s hard when they start to shrink. >^..^<
Oh Meelee, I hope you will be feeling better soon. Maybe you’ll just have to have a change in diet. *hugs*
