Victor and… Amelia?

Remember Victor and Emilio? It turns out Emilio is a girl, and so she’s called Amelia now. We just got this short note from their new forever home:
“Emilio is now Amelia…. he is a she! They are outside eating corn husks as we
speak.”
We’re so happy to hear they’re doing well and enjoying their treats. Special thanks to their new forever home for checking in and keeping them safe and happy. It’s always nice to hear the rescued kids are doing well.

Might I suggest calling her…Victoria? (Julie Andrews, 1982? Anyone?) Okay, moving on…how ’bout Yentl?
Well… Victor is still a dude, so I don’t think he’d approve of that. Only Emilio (the brown one) is a girler. Nice reference though.
Hmm, I’m surprised that you didn’t know. I thought that females had a very different type of quack that would enable you to tell. Anyway, the fact that they’re both happy and healthy is the important thing.
Dawn: They all quack the same when they’re babies. You can’t tell until about 12-14 weeks old when they get a drake feather. Their quack changes about then, too.
