DO NOT Be Late for Treat Time

“And just where do you think you’ve been, Mom?”
Me? I went to a neighborhood gathering down the street.

“And did you ask us if you could be gone during treat time?”
No… I forgot to ask, Chewy.

“Oh, you forgot. Is that your excuse?”
Wow, you seem upset. I’m sorry I missed treat time, Chewy. I was visiting with neighbors.

“Talk to the tail ’cause the beak don’t want to hear it.”
That’s harsh, buster. I guess you don’t want to hear about my neighbor picnic.

“Why? Was it nice? Did you bring us back some treats?”

“I’m sorry. You can talk to my beak, especially if you have treats.”
Thanks, Chewy. Yes, Flapper. It was a nice picnic. We have good neighbors. And yes, I did bring you some treats.

“All is forgiven. Yay for treats!”

“Mom? Let’s try to be on time tomorrow, okay?”
You got it, buster.

Wonderful pictures. Poor kids I am sure you must have been able to hear their tummies rumble down the street;-)
Geez! The boys were ganging up on mom, huh?
What time was treat time, anyway?
And what special treat did they receive from the neighbours?
I miss Petunia — how is Her Majesty doing?
These two jokers crack me up. I am glad they are a working as a team to fight for treat rights.
