TAKE ME HOME!

Racquel has a cold. She is at the vet for an exam. She should recover fine with baytril. The vet said I caught it early so that is good. I think all this Seattle rain has been a bit much for little Racquel.
I first realized she might be sick yesterday. Olivia was out of sight and Racquel started calling for her. Racquel called and called but Olivia was ignoring her because I was feeding her some Cheerios. Finally Racquel started sounding out of breath and a little bit wheezy. She shouldn’t sound like that, even when she’s yelling. So we made an appointment for the vet.
She was a good little muppet at the vet, and she should be just fine after 10-days of medicine.
Racquel weighs 1.0kg or 2.2lbs.

Aww, get well little Raquel. You’re much too pretty to be sick, little one.
I fotgot to ask yesterday, is that a good weight for a chicken? I have no idea how much they should weigh. She looks good to me!
I hope Racquel will be feeling better soon, baytril should to the trick.
Peter, Racquel is a little chicken. But this weight is appropriate for her, and the vet said she felt healthy and not thin.
Gah! I have got to have a muppet chicken. We’re considering muppet chicken after we’ve looked at all the pictures of Raquel here – do they really get along well with the ducks?
We’re having ducks too, probably mallards and domestics.
