French Fry Monster
Flapper got his french fries tonight, and as you can see, he is a french fry monster. He LOVES french fries very, very much. He only gets a few of them, broken into little pieces, every once in a while. They are his favorite thing ever.
And you can also see they make him a little bonkers.
He seems to be feeling a bit better, which I’m very happy about.
French fries all around!

I has a silly question.. In some of his pictures Mr Flapper has a black mark on his bill, others he doesn’t. What’s the mark?
**LOVE** The tail waggles and the duck talk, Flapper’s Mom
Congratulations! It sounds like the french fry tree bloomed fruitfully in the snow!
I think Flapper was saying over and over again, “French fry! French fry! Gimme gimme some more french fries!”
So glad to her Flapper is better. (PS, love the shoes, classic!)
At first I thought you were speaking French to Flapper in honor of the French Fries “Ça va? Ça va?” but then I realized that you are actually fluent in Crazed Duck (”Buh beh! Buh beh!”) Go figure.
Flapper, you’re looking so good!!! Be nice to Tiff – she’s your FF supplier.
Shadowydreamer: Flapper always has that black mark on his bean (front part of the beak). It showed up when he was about a year old and it has been there ever since. Lots of ducks seem to have ‘em.
Keep eating those french fries Flapper and save some for us!!!
I watched both videos at the same time. what a riot. He goes nutz for his french fries. I’m glad Flap is feeling better.
I love how he wags his tail. That has to be the cutest thing ever.
Just so you know, “like Flapper on fries” has become a family catch phrase.
Good videos
I like the up close shots when he looks at the camera

I’ve had female Pekin ducks like this one and a Mallard drake. My Pekins had the crest on their heads and we would call them wigs
They loved it when shower time came. They would stand and let the water fall on them and they would catch the drops of water and then flap their wings and quack. I would corner each one so one by one I could pick them up and rub them and talk to them.
They’re long gone, now.
