Well well well…

Well well well… look who we have here! Remember Victor and Emilio? The second Emilio-looking duck is their friend. I frankly can’t tell which one is Emilio. Victor is of course easy to spot… from his good looks.

This was them a year ago here at Flapper’s house. Since then they went on to a great adopted home. But unfortunately, another sweet duck at that home has become special needs with arthritis, and Victor is throwing his chubby pekin weight around and making life hard for that duck. Apparently he’s relentlessly picking on the poor guy.

Their adopted home says “these two little ruffians are good boys and don’t bother anyone else.” So that’s promising! But we do need to find them another forever home.
This does happen from time to time, and I’m very happy their adopted home contacted us for help. If you or someone you know (within 250 miles of Seattle, WA) may be interested in these kids, I think they would make a great addition to an established flock, or even do well on their own in a safe environment.
Let us know. We’d really like to help them out.
P.S. For a few weeks after they first left us, it looked like Emilio was becoming Emelia, but eventually he did get in his green head feathers as I suspected. For once, I guessed right.

Good luck to Victor and Emilio. And, bless their humans for asking for help. Please keep us posted!
Awe, kids kids kids, don’t you know you should all live in peace and harmony with eachother” Picking on injured ducks is not good.
I’m sorry to hear that Emilio and Victor can’t stay, I hope you (with help) will find a good new home for them, good of the foster parents to inform you.
They have become beautiful kids!
Oh yes, I remember Victor and Emilio, and I certainly remember that photo of you with the “why me?” expression.
Tsk, tsk, tsk, Victor.
I know that you would never act like that, Flappy — mainly because O’Malley wouldn’t let you.
I hope that these two cuties find a good home soon.
