Victor & Emilio’s New Home
Victor and Emilio headed to a new home today. Remember them? They were here a year ago and went to a great home. But then they got in trouble by picking on a duck with arthritis, so we had to find them a new place.

Victor was not too sure he wanted to come out of the pet carrier and check out the new digs.

Both he and Emilio stood still and just took in their surroundings for a bit.

But once they ate a few peas…

They were ready to take on the world.

And then come back for a few more peas.

In addition to Victor & Emilio, their new home also has some chickens.

Some other ducks.

One tiny, cute, muscovy duckling.

A goose named Norman.

And a capybara.
WAIT. What the QUACK!?

That’s right! Victor & Emilio now live with the magical and wondrous capybara named Dobby.

Not sure what a capybara is? Well it’s a giant rodent. The largest rodent in the world in fact. It is kind of related to a guinea pig, only completely giant. I mean BIG.

And this one here squeaks.

And he likes to rub his snout on stuff. Check out his webbed feet, too!
Dobby even has his own blog. You can read all about him and his antics and hi-jinks at:

We wish Victor and Emilio all the best in their new home. They know that if they get kicked out again, we’ll be back to help them find yet another living situation. But hopefully, they’ll stay in line and enjoy their new friends.

Norman? You keep an eye on Victor & Emilio for me, okay?
“Roger that. 10-4. The perimeter is secure.”
Good luck, boys. Stay in touch.
XOXOX

That was a quick find! Looks like a wonderful place for the boys, I should think they’d behave with a capibara for a watch’dog’;-)
Norman looks and sounds familiar, is he someone we know?
Good action, I hope all will work out now for Emilio and Victor.
I haven’t met Norman before, no.
I’m glad they found a good home already. I had no idea a capybara was so BIG. Wowser.
Oooh, I love capybaras! I think our guinea pig Mariusz believes that he is capybara-sized — he runs around the place shoving stuff out of his way and causing general havoc. He will try to push ME if I’m sitting on the floor, in his way. Seriously.
That’s a lovely looking gang of friends for V&E. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that things work out.
Thanks for the view of your cloaca, little muscovy. lol And your little duckie feets!! <3
What a cute story with a happy ending. Don’t show JB, he might want to move. That looks like a fun place to live.
Wow, that is the coolest place. I love Dobby. Those are the greatest rodents of all and ones that I have known about for quite some time. I believe they have them or they are from Australia. So glad Victor and his ’spouse’ have found a new home and wish them the very best and that they not pick on less fortunate animals. LOL
