Weekend Antics
This weekend was full of antics and silliness.
For instance, did you know that chickens like applesauce?

Well they do. But if you plan to share with them, make sure you take your share first, because they get dirt in your applesauce.

In other news, O’Malley was the victim of a sneak attack.
“It was scary!”

He was walking by Racquel L’Oreal in the yard, and Racquel thought he was way too close. She thought he was going to attack her so she made a pre-emptive strike and FLEW through the air right at O’Malley’s face.
HI-YA!

“I wasn’t attacking her, she attacked me. I was just walking by her and she went kung-fu on me.”

“I have conquered. Who is next? Wax on, wax off. HI-YA!”
Calm down, Racquel. No one is after you, silly muppet.

“I’m going to stay in my pen for awhile. Will you close the door?”
Sure thing, O’Malley. I’m sorry buddy.

Racquel is growing some new face feathers, so maybe she is just a bit sensitive.

Here is what we call a “Racquel Eclipse.” She stands behind Olivia sometimes and we can’t find her.

Everybody else is doing fine. Chewy loves napping in the long grass.

And Flapper does, too.

“Wait! It’s not nap time until after treat time.”
Good point, Flapper. I’ll go get some treats and we’ll wish everyone a good week for now.
Have a good week, everyone.

Love the pics from this weekend! Great ‘eclipse’ picture
Looks like everybody had a good time, except maybe O’Malley……
The Racquel Eclipse made my day!
I love the last picture. “QUAAACK!”
Aww, Malley’s a sensitive soul underneath the bluster. I don’t feel totally sorry for him, though, since he’s done his share of terrorizing.
Tell me Racquel didn’t bust out a Karate Kid reference. Sigh.
Toonie did a sideways kung fu kick to someone in the yard once, didn’t she? Who was that? Best watch it, boys: these ladies ain’t playin.
So did Racquel’s infection clear up that was on her face area? Everyone looks so good. We are suppose to get up to an inch of rain tonight in our Puget Sound and through tomorrow so the ducks will love that. I watched a program on TV this past weekend where these people had chickens. All of the chickens they had were like Racquel, with the long fuzzy looking feathers. It was so cool to see that many at one time in this huge cage.
Oh oh, I first understood it wrong, luckily it wasn’t a “snake attack”.!:)
Does Racquel really picks at O’Malley. I hope she didn’t wound him with her sharp beak.
Have a good week too Flapper!
Tif and Flap, thanks for the link to Dobby. I read through everything on his website and really enjoyed it. I plan to check him out now on a regular basis. But of course, Flapper is always first to be checked out and his comrades.
Chickens eating applesauce is cute
Racquel has been watching too many Bruce Lee movies, maybe you should monitor her tv time;-)
I’m sorry for Malley, but he had it coming, ducks and chickens have good memory.
Wonderful pictures of a wonderful weekend. I see you have clover in your grass, do the ducks like to eat them? My geese love it!
I’m sorry Mr. O’Malley but I have to side with Raquel on this one. She was simply defending the honor of her “sister” Olivia. It wasn’t that long ago that you took a chunk out of Olivia’s butt. And then the line was drawn.
Now that the slate has been wiped clean, you and Raquel should bow, touch beeks and flap on it. All’s well that ends well.
