Such good news, and such sweet pictures. I'm learning lots about these critters through your blog, and it's surprising to me that darling goose is so cuddly and would look to a human to get her need for attention met. I think that's just wonderful.

Your neighbors must have been asking WTF when they heard the first honk. It's good that Goose is keeping the honks to a minimum.

I think (s)he recognizes you as a super buddy to animals. (S)he wouldn't get snugly with just anyone. (I can't wait until we know if it's a boy or a girl so I can lose these stupid pronoun constructions. I hate saying "it.")

Goose looks very dramatic in that wings-outstretched photo, as if (s)he's going to burst into an oration: "Friends, Romans, countrygeese, lend me your honks."

Thanks for the update on everyone, good to hear and see that everyone is doing well (as good as can be expected) and happy. Looks very peaceful:-)
Good luck with the surgery tomorrow Goose, I'm sure it will all work out and I hope your foot will get as good as it can. You are a brave and sweet kid, enjoy all the attention.
We've had a rough and windy weekend at Foppe's, it's getting colder too so I need to get on with fixing the duck pens.
Snuggles and his gang wish everyone a good week!
