Cough cough, honk honk
It was dark out, but I wanted to capture George talking to my cough. As I mentioned before, he’s a very good conversationalist.
He was standing on his blankie, since he has to keep his foot dry for another 20 days. He’s doing well, other than being a little stir crazy from not being able to run and fly. We’re keeping him entertained with toys and treats, and his foot is busy healing so he can run and fly again soon.
Until then, cough cough, honk honk.

Awwww! Too cute!
I sure wouldn’t make fun of your congestion, but that was dang cute.
I’m sorry that you have that cough, but OMG, George is awesome! It’s as if he’s waiting for you to say something, then honking his answer.
Peepers will do that sometimes when we laugh. He’ll laugh back in his staccato style — “bep bep bep.” He sounds like Dubya; I call him the Dubya bird. He’s brighter than Dubya, though.
He was saying “Bless you”.
Whenever I sneeze, Leilani Peepers yells BLESS YOU!!!! in her loudest honk.
George is one cool goose.
(Speedy recovery to you!)
So glad to see that “Goose” is doing so well. that’s funny that you have to keep a dry towel in his cage for his foot. That must be difficult to keep dry in our weather let alone to keep him on it.
When I sneeze or cough, my cats jump. They just don’t hear me do that too often apparently. LOL
Very cute! Hope your cough clears up soon for you though.
