I was laughing this week watching Mandie my girl cat walk/waddle across the living room floor. She is long haired and her back fur on her buns so reminded me of George's back buns - thick feathers/fur and very full. It was just funny as i thought of George when looking at Mandie from the rear.

So glad that George is doing better. he's a big goose any way you look at it. Glad that Simon is doing well. maybe George needs to run after Simon a bit. Geese love running after cats in attack mode.

I love the way George struts his stuff. He looks like Mr. No-Nonsense when he comes out of that carrier in those photos.

Our family has had very good luck with giving kitties insulin. We're wishing Simon all the best.

Aww. We have brought Peepers and Tweek into Starbucks a few times, on the way home from a wing and nail trim. They made a lot of friends there. (Sigh.... We were tempted to leave them there, but the nice baristas don't deserve the evil that is P&T.)

That is one huge carrier! Was it sold a a dog carrier?

I'm so happy for George.

Don't be too hard on yourself, Tiff. We all know how you love all your buddies, furry and feathery.

George said to mention that he was wet when he got on the scale so his feathers were probably heavy, not his fat.
