A few days ago I might have joined the chickens under their heat lamp. Today was 45 degrees so much better. Was Simon's wet food discontinued by the company or because his situation warranted changing it? If the company discontinued it, other companies often make formulations in the same flavors. I'm sure there's some difference in taste but it might be close enough to make him happy. Fortunately, my 3 cats will eat anything that I put in front of them. Unfortunately, 1 of them also thinks that he's a labrador retriever and gets in the garbage. I have to have baby locks on all my cabinets or he'll open them & eat whatever he feels like. I ask because both of mine starting doing it (just tucking their face under) at the same time when the weather got really cold and before I started turning on the heater, and I just assumed it was their way of balling up and keeping warm. (I'm not asking to debate the status of your cat, I'm just wanting to make sure I'm interpreting my cats correctly.) If I turn on the heater, they sprawl, but in the morning when it hasn't been on, it's not uncommon to see them balled up again. Question: How exactly is he sitting?
