My (human) grandma had an enlarged heart and they said she only had 2 years to live. She actually lived 14 years, saw both daughters get married and greeted 4 grandchildren into the world during that time. Doctors know a lot but they don’t know how to factor in the effect of enjoying life. Show them how to do it, Mr. Flapper Duck!

He looks like he’s doing well with the good attention! He’s getting the best of care to say the least. He is such a nice duck…mine are mighty biteys now and then, but I still love them.

I’m glad you’re both enjoying Flapper’s time inside. He’s probably much more comfy in the house where everything is warm and soft. Great news about the heart meds and the fact that the bird vet said he should do quite well on them. A happy update for a happy Friday!
