Bird Project

This is some awesome soap we received as a gift today from our good friends Wayne & Dawn in NYC. Isn’t it neat? Read all about it at: http://www.birdproject.org
The soap is made from biodiesel glycerin and some other stuff, and half of the profits from the sales of the soap benefit birds affected by the BP Horizon Deepwater Oil Spill.
What a thoughtful gift, and what a great cause.
Pass it on.
P.S. We’re taking in a new rescue on Saturday!

Aww, it’s the least we could do for you after all that you’ve done for the feathery types. It was supposed to be for Christmas but they were delayed in creating new birdies.
Enjoy. The soap smells wonderful, doesn’t it? Since it’s mostly natural and organic, I wonder if you could use it to clean Flappy’s less-than-pristine tushie? Just a thought.
What an awesome photo of Flapper and the bird soap. Flap is so photogenic. I can’t wait to hear all about the new rescue. Love your blog and Flapper website Tif as always.
