Of course you miss George. He was a huge presence at Casa del Flapper, both figuratively and literally. But you have the comfort of knowing that he’s at a fantastic sanctuary, hanging with his new wingman (I hope). And you’ll see him soon!

I miss the George updates already.

I say this every time but I just adore Toonie. How did a Seattle duck develop such an in-your-face New York attitude? She’s my idol.

Tif, have you gotten to meet the people across from you where you work? That is a riot to see what each of you come up with especially with all those colored post-its.

Loved the video of the chikin talking. I hope the pans work out. Ducks can be so messy when they eat. I miss George too but i’m sure he is doing great. One thing about the rain we are getting – ducks love it!!!

I was thinking, maybe you can add some cat grit under a paper towel under Flapper and Lester’s water dishes, to soak up exess water? You’ve got a great set up for them, what a work to clean those towels!
I understand that you miss George presence, geese make much more havoc than ducks, specially scovies. Cute video of the kids, Petunia behaves exaclty like our old lady Saartje, very sweet. I had forgotten how fast chickens are, great personalities.
