Sending French Fries

Flapper? Do you happen to know why there are french fries stuffed into the printer?
“I told Stuart I would send some french fries to him, from my french fry tree.”

Yeah… I thought that might have something to do with it. I asked Stuart, but he said it was between you him.

“Ha ha ha that guy is funny. Poo!”
Hmmm… okay Flapper. Let’s not put french fries in anything but your beak again, okay? And definitely do NOT poop in the printer.
“Okay, deal.”

Flapper’s friend Stuart is a super cool duck who wears awesome collars called “Jingle Pets.” He also paints, with his feet! Here he is painting.

Quacks from Pennsylvania

Flapper & family received this adorable email today from some fellow quack addicts in Pennsylvania. It was so cute we had to share.

Hey Flapper and the gang! I’m Daisy and Mom asked me to send you some photos of us. Oh, by the way, got PEAS to share?!!!

We have a pretty sweet set-up. We built this ourselves, well our family helped a little. We picked the paint color – pea green!

This is our “Duck Mobile.” We live near a hawk sanctuary (Hawk Mountain) so we are not allowed to be out in the yard unless our family is out with us.

The rest of the day is spent in our movable pen to keep us safe. There are lots of bugs, greens, chow and of course, swimming to fill the day.

We didn’t like walking in the snow but loved eating it! The “Duck Mobile” attaches to the back of our house and the ground is lined with wood shavings to keep our feet warm.

Our spirits were kept up with daily feedings of lettuce and peas….

and occasionally a swim in the ladybug pool!

Rouba the Therapy Duck

Our friend MJ has a therapy duck named Peepers, shown in the video above. She also has a duck named Rouba. Unfortunately in the past two weeks, Rouba ate several loose coins left around the house, and suffered terrible metal toxic poisoning as a result.

Rouba was at death’s door but got her strength back long-enough to undergo endoscopy surgery to remove the stack of coins. She is slowly recovering, but now MJ is left with a veterinary bill she needs help paying. UPDATE: THE BILLS ARE PAID IN FULL! NO MORE DONATIONS NEEDED. THANK YOU!
